Ways You Can Help

Donate

As a non-profit charity the Delaware SPCA is only able to provide our valuable services through donations by people like you.

Your donations help provide low-cost spay/neuter programs for Delaware residents, housing and care for the hundreds of dogs and cats cared for daily in our shelters.

The humane officers who investigate reports of animal cruelty in New Castle and Sussex counties are also funded entirely by donations. Investigation of animal cruelty is not funded by any government programs or agencies.

A donation button is located on the left side panel of this site.

If you are interested in holding a collection drive to collect goods for our shelters, you can review our wishlist here.

You can also make purchases through online retailers and have them shipped directly to the shelter!

Volunteer

Volunteers are needed at both shelters to help walk and socialize animals, as well as assist with other various office and cleaning duties. All help is appreciated! For more information, and our volunteer application, click here.

Spread the Word

Word of mouth is invaluable to an organization like ours. If you are interested in spreading interest about any of our programs, events or especially animals for adoption, please do! Every little bit helps!

The "SHARE" button in the lower left corner of our pages allows you to add links to our website to your MySpace page, Facebook page, blog or other social networking sites.

Add a customized Petfinder featured pet module to your webpage. The instructions can be found here (.pdf file) and the page to setup your module is here. You will need our site ID's - the Stanton shelter is DE17 and the Georgetown shelter is DE15.
