Step One. Register
Step Two. Collect Pledges!
Because this is a fundraiser, we ask that all walkers collect pledges. A suggested minimum is $50 per person.
Why Your Fundraising Matters
Taking a stroll with your pet and meeting hundreds of other pet lovers is a fun day out, but there’s also an important reason to participate in Bark on the Boards. Your fundraising matters because you are saving lives! Every year, 3,000 animals are taken in by the Delaware SPCA’s animal shelter. These animals are given food, shelter, medical care and hope! You’re doing your part to help save these animals.
What’s more, your action makes strides against pet overpopulation by supporting our high-volume, high-quality low cost spay neuter clinic.
Fundraising is Easy.
It’s easier than you think. Many of the people you see and talk to on a regular basis will be happy to help, if they know you are fundraising! All it takes is a second to ask. Delaware SPCA has put together some tips to aid you in your efforts.
Just spread the word among family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Fill out the pledge form on the brochure and bring it with you on October 1st along with your collected donations, or raise money online by setting up your personal fundraising page. Click here to download a Pledge Form.
Check with your employer to see if your company has a matching gifts program.
