Get out, get active and bring the family for an afternoon of doggone good fun. Choose a 1 or 2 mile fun walk starting at the Bark Park and strolling through the Streed Farm trail. Canine companions are welcome to join you, but are not required in order to walk. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the care of abused, neglected and homeless animals, and efforts to reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.

How To Enter
Step One. Pre-Register!
Register on-line or download the brochure.
Fees:
$15 adults, pre-registration by May 1
$20 adults, registration after May 1 and day of event
$5 children (ages 6-16) pre-registration & day of event. Must be accompanied by adult.
Children 5 and under free
Step Two. Get Sponsors!
All participants are asked to obtain sponsors. Just spread the word among family, friends,
co-workers, and neighbors. Check with your employer to see if your company has a matching gifts program. Fill out the sponsor sheet and bring it with you on May 16th along with your collected donations. Prizes for Top Pledge Collectors to be announced.
Set up your own Personal Fundraising Page – log on to www.firstgiving.com/23213
and follow the easy instructions to create your own fundraising page. Send it to friends and family via email. They will be able to make a secure donation directly to the SPCA in your name.
Step Three. Check in and Walk!
If you haven't pre-registered, you can still register with $20 right at the site. Check-in time for the Walk begins at 11:30 AM. Remember to bring along your pledges. All Delaware SPCA alumni dogs in attendance will receive an alumni ribbon to proudly wear.
Prizes:
Raise $50, and receive a Tails and Trails T-shirt
Raise $100, and receive a Tails and Trails T-shirt and gift certificate to Concord Pet Foods & Supplies
Prizes also given to the top three fundraisers over $150
Contests:
After the walk, enter your pooch in one of our pet contests. Register at the event – contests begin at 1:30 PM.

Parking:
Talley-Day Park is located at 1300 Foulk Road, Wilmington. The festivities will take place near the Bark Park. Please use any of the available parking lots throughout the park.
Guidelines for Pets:
Please keep dogs on leash and under control at all times. Dogs must also be current on vaccinations. Please remember to scoop up after your pet; baggies will be provided. Water stations will be provided for our canine participants.
