If you have lost a dog:
  • File lost reports with your local SPCA and Delaware Animal Care & Control.
  • Place lost posters (where allowed) in your area
  • Ask your mail carrier if they have seen a dog matching your dog's description elsewhere in the area
  • Post a lost animal listing on Petfinder.com and check the found listings as well.

Stray Dogs in the
City of Wilmington

Delaware SPCA officers are available for stray dog pickup within city limits between 8 am - 3:20 pm, Monday through Friday.

Officers are available for emergency calls involving sick or injured dogs and cats 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you have found a dog and wish to keep it:
