The information can either be emailed to info@delspca.org or posted directly to the Happy Tails Facebook page. Your heartwarming “tail” may just inspire prospective pet parents to adopt from Delaware SPCA.

Happy Tails to our longest resident, Charlize!

The longest resident of Delaware SPCA, a 4-year-old dog named Charlize, found her forever home in November after spending more than half her life in a shelter!

Charlize’s first few days have been good so far! She loves to play with her toys until she is quite worn out and she is a napper. She is such a good girl, so glad to welcome her to our home!

Miss Thing picked out my son a little over a year ago. We were there to see another cat, but Miss Thing started meowing at us as soon as we walked in. We decided to visit with her, and she walked into our kitty carrier. It was love at first sight. She has taken over our hearts...

I adopted Romeo in April and he has quickly become our MOST important family member. He loves to cuddle, give kisses, snore through our work meetings and ride in the car! We love him so much and are thankful Delaware SPCA brought us together.

Adopted my sweet Olive about two weeks ago! She is settled in to her new home quite well! Her favorite hobbies include sleeping and eating! I am so grateful that we were able to give her the loving home she deserves.

We brought Scooby home in March and immediately knew he was the dog for us… He’s so beyond perfect and words can’t even describe how much love we have for him. Delaware SPCA has no idea how thankful I am every single day for introducing us to our best friend.

Within just three days of adopting Fergie and Lily, they had become fast friends. After 10 days, they had started sleeping next to each other. When we were leaving the shelter with them, a Delaware SPCA staff member told them they had hit the lottery with us. Believe me, we feel we’ve hit the lottery with them!
